1956
The company ELBA - Electromechanics Luoni Busto Arsizio - was born in 1956 on the initiative of Luoni brothers, as manufacturers of electrical equipment. Eight years later, the direction put the electrical department together with the mechanical department, dedicated to the production of thermoplastic welders.
1964
The ESM line is the first in a long series of successful machineries (more than 3000) sold worldwide in more than 50 years in business.
1976
FIBORSIN was created to be dedicated to the construction of extrusion lines of plastic nets and Minizip, with the aim of meeting new market trends.
1978
In order to create a better organization, the production of electrical equipment is transferred to the newly formed company FAE, while ELBA concentrates on the manufacturing of machines for the production of bags.
1997
The ELBA USA subsidiary was born to meet the growing demands of the US market and to offer an after-sales service on site.
1998
The ELBA Group incorporates FAMA company based in Sesto Calende, which built sealing machines for the production of vacuum bags, thereby consolidating its presence in the flexible packaging market. A new line of machines for vacuum bags, improved and enhanced, is offered to the market for the production of 3-side-seal pouches, stand-up pouches, side gusset bags, pouches with zipper, etc., thus allowing ELBA to become a market leader worldwide. 
2000
ELBA consolidates one more time its presence in the market by developing new solutions for the high-speed machines dedicated to the production of various types of  PE and PP T-Shirt bags, bags with wicket collection, diaper bags, open mouth bags.
2010
ELBA reached a new milestone by adding the "SA-M" to its range of machines, dedicated to the production of a wide range of medical bags (Chevron pouches, header bags, flat and gusseted rolls, etc.).
2016
ELBA launches on the market the latest evolution of the SA-U machine, dedicated to the production of a wide range of bags. The SA-U was developed with a new modular design that allows the machine to be completely customized at any time and it was conceived, designed and developed according to the new ELBA philosphy that allows offering tailor-made solutions to the customers.
2018
ELBA launches on the market the latest evolution of the SA-W machine dedicated to the production of a wide range of wicket bags. The SA-W was developed with a new modular design following the new ELBA's philosphy that allows offering tailor-made solutions to the customers.
